Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is Holy Ground.

Exodus 3:5b

As I contemplated this scripture I was both humbled and elated at what God had revealed to me.

Because I am His child, I am unconditionally loved by Him.   He promises that He is with me at all times, His Spirit lives within me.  Therefore, no matter where I am, or what circumstance I find myself in.... I am standing on Holy Ground.

The awareness of this exudes two responses. It causes me to think about my thoughts, words, actions and reactions.  It also gives me a sence of security - I feel "held"... He is ever present with me.
